1. Are we wasting our talents?

   Mr. Der-Tavitian raises a very important question? What happens to the thousands of Armenian graduates from Universities and Colleges in North America? How much do they get involved in community affairs following obtaining their degrees?

   There are many professional associations that contribute to the various scattered communities and Armenia. However, in all probability only an insignificant number of new-grads get involved.

   May I suggest that the various undergrad student societies compile the names of the graduates year over year and keep in touch with the alumni? Probably they are already performing such a task. I don’t know.

   Will it be too ambitious to undertake a survey with the co-operation of various Student Societies? Such data may provide clues to what the status quo is and formulate plans.
