Congratulations, Dr. Kojayan. However, I would have liked to have seen Keghart not to be associated with an organization that is in bed with the criminal regime in Armenia. Those of us who have been following recent events in Armenia are appalled by the actions of the Armenian police. Female activists being sexually assaulted by the police (captured on camera), others–old and young–beaten while doctors refuse to treat them in hospitals; elderly protesters intimidated; grandparents of activists visited by the Armenian Gestapo. I guess, an open letter written by the father of a protester (Vahakn Minasyan), which one can read in Armenian in Lragir.am entitled "Whom did you send to our house Daren Markaryan", says it all. And a government minister proclaiming that they can do much much more, if and when they want to.
So what are Diaspora Armenians doing? Not a single word from anyone; not a single editorial; not a single protest letter to Armenian embassies. Instead, we are busy organizing cocktails with Armenian ambassadors. Those Armenian-named moles, who are running our homeland, are destroying what the little left from the genocidal Turkey, and no one cares?
