The 110th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide will take place in Times Square, New York, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, and will feature remarks by elected officials and guest speakers. Artsakh-born (Nagorno-Karabakh) musician Valeri “Lyoka” Ghazaryan — a survivor of three Artsakh wars (1990, 2016 and 2020) — will present a unique and powerful performance. The event is sponsored by the Knights and Daughters of Vartan and co-sponsored by a number of leading Armenian-American organizations.*
The Commemoration, scheduled from 2 pm to 4 pm, will reflect on the massacres of Armenians by the Turkish governments between 1915 and 1923 Taking advantage of the world’s preoccupation with the First World War, Turkey killed 1.5 million civilian Armenians, including Armenian volunteers in the Turkish army. Calls for recognition from the Turkish government will be reiterated throughout the program, particularly from U.S. representatives who have remained steadfast supporters of Armenian-American issues and who consistently advocated for Armenian Genocide affirmation.
Attendance is free. To participate in the Commemoration as a volunteer, please click here, and for donations to help defray costs of the event click here.

It’s disappointing not to see non-Armenian organizations on the co-sponsors’ list. Was this an oversight by the initiators? At least the Greeks and the Assyrians should have been invited. They too faced the same fate during the horrible atrocities, almost in the same time-frame as the Genocide of the
Armenians were cruelly executed.
Knights and Daughters of Vartan?
I did not know Vartan Mamikonian’s knights and daughters were freemasons😂
You have not learned anything from The Genocide.
Which freemason was spared in Constantinople in 1915 – Zohrap, Cholax Vardkez or Daniel Varujan?
