It premiered at the Theatre Ottoman, opened by Gullu Agop. Haroutune Sinanyan wrote the anthem of the Young Turks. Edgar Manos, an Armenian, arranged "Hymn of Independence" for the Turkish Republic. He also founded the first Turkish female choir.
