Caro Lucas, who died in 2010, was the “Father of Iran’s robotic sciences.” He introduced new multi-disciplinary graduate courses (biological computing, general systems design, advanced socio-cognitive systems) and conducted courses in electrical and computer engineering, management, psychology, arts and architecture, finance and economics. He also founded the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics (ISRF). Lucas authored or co-authored about 825 conference papers. 332 journal papers and edited many book. He was also keynote speaker at 190 national and international events.
