Harry Altounian was an automotive genius and an expert in the mechanics of the Porsche cars in the ‘50s and the ‘60s. He was also a close friend of actor Steve McQueen. When McQueen was preparing to shoot the “Le Mans” racing movie in 1970 he asked Altounian to maintain the various Porsches McQueen drove during the shoot.
