Dear Keghart readers and friends,
Nobody likes to bear gloomy news; but I must.
The Keghart.org periodical will shutter indefinitely because of serious deterioration in my health.
I thank all readers, article contributors and donors who supported the publication, which lasted for almost two decades.
Respectfully,
Dikran Abrahamian MD

Dear Dikran Abrahamian
and Keghart members,
Farewell is not the end, ceasing is not the end
It’s the beginning of the results and achievements
of your long lasting work in favor of the Armenian
Conscious and mind.
Till we meet in new thoughts and minds of our people.

FARE-THEE-WELL. Thank you Dikran for coming with Keghart online periodical that lived up to its claim for being non-partisan, devoted to Armenian affairs, human rights and democracy. Fare thee well Dikran.
Dear Dikran,
I always looked forward to read Keghart, thank you for all you have done.
My thoughts are with you.
Dear Dikran Abrahamian,
I am sorry to hear about worsening of your health. May God’s blessing and hand be with you.
Thank you for all the work you have done.
I will pray for you,
Shushan
Dear Dr. Abrahamian,
I was deeply saddened to read your message.
Before thinking about Keghart, my first wish is for your health and recovery. I have never forgotten your kindness when my mother was going through one of the most difficult periods of her illness. Despite everything on your own shoulders, you generously took the time to offer medical advice and encouragement from Canada. That meant far more to me than I can express.
For nearly two decades, Keghart has been an invaluable voice for historical truth, critical thought, and Armenian intellectual life. What you built has touched and inspired people across the world, including me. It has been a privilege to contribute to its pages.
Thank you, not only for creating and sustaining Keghart, but also for your generosity, integrity, and humanity.
I sincerely pray that you regain your health and find strength in the days ahead.
With my deepest respect and gratitude,
Nurnisa
Dear Dikran Aprahamian,
I am deeply saddened and taken by surprise to hear this news.
Your legacy deserves to be continued under the existing team, and more.
Yet I am not familiar with the challenges of keeping a website running, something you have voiced several times.
Keghart gave me the opportunity to publish my science articles and have a say, upon which I had this new idea of why not publish a science magazine! For now, only on Facebook.
My hope is that something will come up and Keghart will persist, continue challenging the minds and keeping the diversity alive within our community.
Respects and chapeau

Dear Dikran,
It’s always heartbreaking to see an Armenian media outlet disappear. But health comes first.
In any case, congratulations on the valuable work you’ve been doing for years.
May God watch over you.

This was very sad news and I wish you a full recovery. May God be with you in what is surely a difficult time for you and your family. Thank you so much for the gift of Keghart as future generations will benefit from this platform you have created and nurtured for twenty years.
