AYF: Calling All Armenians Around the World

The Armenian Youth Federation Western U.S. (AYF-WUS) has called on Armenians around the world to send an email to all members of the #Armenia's parliament, urging them to vote for the people’s candidate and to not obstruct #NikolPashinyan from getting elected as PM.

Given the recent announcement by Nikol Pashinyan moments ago of a last ditch effort by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia to derail the vote for prime minister tomorrow and to ensure the people’s candidate gets elected as prime minister on May 1, we call on Armenians around the world to send the following email to all members of the Armenian parliament urging them to vote for the people’s candidate and to not obstruct Nikol Pashinyan from getting elected as prime minister.

Given the recent announcement by Nikol Pashinyan moments ago of a last ditch effort by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia to derail the vote for prime minister tomorrow and to ensure the people’s candidate gets elected as prime minister on May 1, we call on Armenians around the world to send the following email to all members of the Armenian parliament urging them to vote for the people’s candidate and to not obstruct Nikol Pashinyan from getting elected as prime minister.

A few days earlier, the ՄերժիրՍերժին movement proposed similar steps for how citizens of Armenia could take action in the days prior to the election of a new prime minister. Email addresses of the parliamentarians are included below.

Taking into consideration the recent developments in Armenia, the #MerzhirSerjin movement has proposed the following steps:

1) To work with members of the Armenian National Assembly by explaining to them the situation and the expectations of the voters for the May 1 election of the prime minister.
2) To share the following letter to MPs (feel free to edit to the text based on your discretion)
3) To send this text as a mass email to show that a large number of Armenians support this initiative. Through this method, send an email to the email addresses that are listed below.

ՀԱՐԳԵԼԻ ՀԱՅՐԵՆԱԿԻՑՆԵՐ,

Հաշվի առնելով Հայաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակը և ռիսկերը, քաղաքացիական անհնազանդության երկօրյա դադարի ընթացքում առաջարկում ենք կատարել հետևյալ քայլերը.

1. աշխատել ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորների հետ՝ բացատրելով նրանց իրավիճակը և ընտրողների ակնկալիքները ԱԺ-ում մայիսի 1-ին նախատեսված քվեարկությունից:

2. Ձեր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում տեղադրել այսպիսի նամակ-պահանջ՝ ուղղվածպատգամավորներին (կարող եք նաև փոխել տեքստն` ըստ ձեր հայեցողության, բայց Շարժման սկզբունքների սահմաններում:

3. Նամակի նույն տեքստն ուղարկել էլեկտրոնային փոստի «ռմբակոծման» հայտնի մեթոդով, որն իրենից ներկայացնում է բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիների կողմից զանգվածային նամակային գրոհ: Այս մեթոդի համաձայն քաղաքացիները պետք է նամակներ ուղարկեն ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորներին, որոնց էլեկտրոնային հասցեները հետևյալն են (ներառված չեն միայն Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի անդամ պատգամավորները).

Հարգելի պատգամավոր,

Ինչպես տեղյակ եք, Հայաստանում ձևավորված իրավիճակը և քաղաքացիական պոռթկումը հետևանք է նաև տարիներ շարունակ կեղծված ընտրությունների:

Այսօր բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի համար ակնհայտ է, որ իրավիճակի հանգուցալուծման հիմնական բանալին արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններն են: Սակայն, անչափ կարևոր է և այն, թե ով է լինելու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ժամանակավոր վարչապետը և ում պատասխանատվության ներքո են անցկացվելու արտահերթ ընտրությունները:

Հայաստանի հանրապետական կուսակցությունը (ՀՀԿ), 15 տարի լինելով իշխանության գլուխ, բազմիցս ապացուցել է, որ չի կարող կազմակերպել ժողովրդավարության միջազգային չափանիշներին համապատասխան ազատ և արդար ընտրություններ։ ՀՀԿ վարչակազմն իր իշխանության օրոք անցկացված բոլոր ընտրությունների ժամանակ լայնածավալ կերպով չարաշահել է վարչական ռեսուրսը, ոտնահարել է քաղաքացիների ազատ կամարտահայտման իրավունքը, խեղել է ընտրական գործընթացները և կեղծել ընտրությունների արդյունքները: Չկա որևէ երաշխիք, որ ՀՀԿ հետագա իշխանավարման պարագայում չի կրկնվի նույն գործելաոճը, ուստի Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների համար կարևոր է, որ ժամանակավոր գործադիր իշխանության ղեկավարը լինի մի մարդ, որը պատրաստ է վերացնել ձևավորված արատավոր պրակտիկան և երաշխավորել ազատ, արդար և թափանցիկ ընտրությունների անցկացումը:

Հավաստիացնում ենք, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացիները եւ բոլոր աշխարհի հայերը այլևս չեն հանդուրժելու ընտրակեղծարարությունը և իշխանության յուրացումը: Ուստի, ՀՀԿ կողմից առաջադրված և Համաժողովրդական շարժման կողմից չերաշխավորված ցանկացած թեկնածուի ընտրությունն անընդունելի է լինելու ժողովրդի համար և շարունակական է դարձնելու քաղաքացիական անհնազանդության ակցիաները: Խաղաղ անհնազանդությանը որևէ միջամտություն ներքին կամ արտաքին ուժերի կողմից վերագրվելու է ՀՀԿ-ին և այն կրելու է սադրանքների և իրավիճակի սրացման ողջ պատասխանատվությունը:

Պահանջում ենք ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի բոլոր, այդ թվում՝ ՀՀԿ պատգամավորներից, ողջամտորեն ըմբռնել ստեղծված իրադրությունը և այն էլ ավելի չբարդացնելու նպատակով՝ ընտրել Համաժողովրդական շարժման առաջնորդ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին: Հայտարարում ենք, որ ՀՀԿ-ի, ինչպես նաև՝ ԱԺ-ում ներկայացված մյուս քաղաքական ուժերի վարկանիշի վերականգնման միակ ճանապարհը սա է:
