In the past few months dedicated Armenians wrote to the British Museum protesting the name change of Room 54 to “Ancient Turkey” (an oxymoron, if ever there was one).
These efforts have proved successful, and the British Museum has changed the room's name to “Anatolia: Urartu.” Short of changing it to “Ancient Armenia” or “Anatolia: Armenia,” Armenians could not be more pleased.

Therefore, it is incumbent upon all those who wrote–and those who didn’t write but who wait for others to do battle–to now write to the British Museum to thank it for the sensible change. The Armenian effort proved yet again that individual Armenians can battle Turkey and come out victorious.
To thank the British Museum, write to:
Mr. Jonathan N. Tubb
BRITISH MUSEUM
Great Russell Street
London WC1B 3DG
England
Although we cannot be sure that it was he who made the correction, we do know that he thought the previous change was nonsensical. Armenians should send "thank you" letters to Mr. Tubb. Those who help Armenians and the Armenian Cause should receive our grateful acknowledgment..
There is a lesson here: Fight the battle that you can win.
