First Wave to Jerusalem

The first wave of Armenian refugees fleeing the Genocide settled in Jerusalem in November 1915 and consisted of the Cilicia Catholicos Sahag accompanied by archbishops and priests. A few days later 15 to 20 Armenian families from Adana were sent to Jerusalem by Jemal Pasha, the commander of the Fourth Army.
