“Lahmajoun”

According to some Armenologists, “lahmajoun”s origin is the Armenian “Miss hats”, originally bread with onion. The Greeks distorted it in “piazza” and introduced it to Venice where it became known as “pizza”. Meanwhile, Cilicia and Western Armenians spread lahmajoun to the Middle East after 1915.
