Nazik Avdalyan, Weightlifting World Champion

In 2008 Nazik Avdalyan of Armenia became Weightlifting World champion in South Korea when she lifted 119 kg in the snatch and 147 kg in the jerk categories. Born in 1986, she also received the silver medal at the European Weightlifting Championship. She weighed 69 kg when she became world champion.
