Sinatra-Strange Story

Avo Uvezian, an Armenian born in Lebanon (1926), was the composer of Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night” hit. Sinatra didn’t like the original title –“Broken Guitar”. Uvezian sent the song to his friend Bert Kaempfert in Germany to get his opinion. Kaempfert falsely took credit for the music. Uvezian couldn’t take legal action because soon after the German musician died. Uvezian, who lives in Florida, is also for his branded cigars… Avo Classic and AvoXD
