Dear friends,
My apologies for "invading" your electronic space again. Today is April 24, our most sacred day, which this year coincides with Easter. I couldn’t help but think of our martyred forefathers and homeland during the Genocide.
Dear friends,
My apologies for "invading" your electronic space again. Today is April 24, our most sacred day, which this year coincides with Easter. I couldn’t help but think of our martyred forefathers and homeland during the Genocide.
Two years have elapsed since that day of commemoration. If I were to update it, would I have added or deleted anything? I am certain I would have cited two significant developments: the infamous "Protocols," and the incessant exodus, in alarming numbers, of our brothers and sisters from Armenia. Both events substantiate the main conclusion of the speech that, more than ever, Hayasdan is in danger and the future of "Hay Tad" is questionable if we don’t take drastic steps.
If you are interested in what I had to say that day, please click the below link. For songs as prayers, click subsequent links. If you would like to know what Canadian-Armenians, in my humble opinion, would like their politicians to hear regarding our collective wish list, please look at the recent editorial.
Thank you for your attention, have a Peaceful & Happy Easter.
Respectfully,
Dikran Abrahamian
