Turkey’s ISIS Support Exposed, Condemned

We call upon the United Nations and the international community to condemn and take effective action against Turkey’s covert logistic support of ISIS

The Assembly of the Armenians of Europe condemns in the strongest possible words the genocidal murderous actions of the ridiculous pseudo-Islamic caliphate of ISIS, a mere horde of mad schizophrenic terrorists running riot in Northern Iraq, against the Yezidi, Armenian and other Christian inhabitants of Mosul, Sinjar, and surrounding areas, committing unforgivable inhuman atrocities, mass-murders, the rape  and sale of women and children into prostitution, the forced religious conversion into Islam, and exile from their homes, and native lands – and all this executed on the verge of the centenary of the genocide of the Armenians, and practically in the same style, methodologically speaking.

The Assembly of the Armenians of Europe condemns in the strongest possible words the genocidal murderous actions of the ridiculous pseudo-Islamic caliphate of ISIS, a mere horde of mad schizophrenic terrorists running riot in Northern Iraq, against the Yezidi, Armenian and other Christian inhabitants of Mosul, Sinjar, and surrounding areas, committing unforgivable inhuman atrocities, mass-murders, the rape  and sale of women and children into prostitution, the forced religious conversion into Islam, and exile from their homes, and native lands – and all this executed on the verge of the centenary of the genocide of the Armenians, and practically in the same style, methodologically speaking.

The authoritative international news media and their eyewitness reporters and investigative journalists confirm that the present government of Turkey is the Patron of this abhorrent and most despicable extremist organization and its co-conspirators Al-Qaida and Al-Nousra. Those hordes of terrorist murder-squads enjoy free entry and exit in and out of Turkey, enjoy the logistical support of Turkey’s military-industrial complex, have access to excellent medical facilities for the wounded, of which the Turkish ordinary citizens are deprived, and are trained and well-equipped with up-to-date weaponry in Turkish military camps.

It would be naïve, almost childish, to presume that without such massive state-subsidized resources, those terrorist death-squads could conquer Kessab, Mosul, Sinjar, etc.

In view of the above-mentioned,

The Assembly of Armenians of Europe, welcomes the UN declaration voted on the 16th of August, which condemned the continuing crimes, and broadcast solidarity with the victims, but most importantly, decided to take punishing measures against the states that covertly sustain those terrorist organizations.

The Assembly  of the Euro-Armenians simultaneously expresses astonishment that the constituent structures of the UN and the EU are delaying and dithering in taking the necessary practical steps for the realisation of their own decisions.

We urgently call upon the UN and the EU to take the necessary measures without delay to stop immediately the continuing, genocidal, murderous crimes committed by those extremist terrorist gangs, and compensate for the suffering of the Yezidis and their fellow victims of all and sundry nationalities and religions, including ordinary Muslims, who are equally indiscriminately killed by their lunatic schizophrenic brethren.

Armenian Yazidis Blame Erdogan for Yazidi Genocide

Yerevan, August 19, 2014—Speaking at a press conference in Yerevan on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Yazidi Union of Armenia, Aziz Tamoyan, said Yazidis in Iraq are facing a genocide, voicing deep dismay at the lack of interest shown by world leaders toward the plight of his co-ethnics and the possibility of their extermination.

Another Armenian Yazidi leader Bro Hasanyan traced the predicament of his co-ethnics in Iraq to the actions of Turkey and former prime minister and newly elected President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose efforts in aiding and abetting Islamic State fighters led to their presence and power in Iraq.

“A genocide is being carried out against the Yazidis in the 21st century and the President of Turkey Erdoğan, former President of Iraq Talabani, and the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Barzani are responsible for it,” Hasanyan said.

Meanwhile, on the same day as the press conference, the government in Stepanakert announced that Artsakh is ready to welcome Yazidis fleeing persecution in Iraq.

Davit Babayan, the spokesman for Artsakh President Bako Sahakian, referred to the Yazidis as “brotherly” people facing genocide at the hands of radical Sunni insurgents, RFE/RL’s Armenian service (Azatutyun.am) reported.

“The Armenian people cannot be indifferent to what is now being done to the Yazidi people,” Babayan told Azatutyun.am. “The Yazidis are the only people who have become an integral part of the Armenian people.”

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is therefore willing to take in Yazidi refugees, he said. “Artsakh has many socioeconomic problems,” he said. “But if there are such applications we, as a state committed to democratic and humanitarian norms, will try to help those people as much as we can.”

Եվրոպայի Հայերի Համագումարը դատապարտում է Հյուսիսային Իրաքում՝ Մուսուլի, Սանջարի և հարակից տարածքների եզդի, հայ և այլ քրիստոնյա ժողովուրդների դեմ «Իսլամական պետություն» կոչվող հրոսակախմբի կողմից կատարվող լայնամասշտապ բռնությունները, մասսայական սպանությունները, կանաց և երեխաների առևանգումը, բռնի կրոնափոխությունն ու տներից ու բնօրրանից նրանց տեղահանումը:
Այս բոլոլորը իրականացվում է հայոց ցեղասպանության հարյուրամյակի շեմին, նույն՝ Օսմանական մեթոդաբանությամբ եւ սցենարով:

Միջազգային հեղինակավոր թերթերի եւ ականատես լրագրողների վկայություններն ու հրապարակած լրատվությունը հաստատում են, որ այս ծայրահեղական կազմակերպությունն ու նրա գործընկեր՝ «Ալ-Քաիդա/Ալ Նուսրա» կազմակերպությունը, հովանավորվում են Թուրքիայի ներկա վարչախմբի կողմից:
Այս ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունները ունեցել են Թուրքիա ազատ ելք ու մուտք կատարելու արտոնություն, այդ երկրի զինատեխնիկական (լոգիստիկա) օժանդակությունը, նույն այդ երկրում վիրավորների բուժման հնարավորություն և ռազմամարզական ճամբարներ:

Միամտություն կլինի ենթադրել, որ առանց նման լայնածավալ պետական հովանավորություն ունենալու, ահաբեկչական այս խմբակները, կարող էին գրավել այնպիսի քաղաքներ, ինչպիսիք են, Քեսաբը, Մուսուլը, Սանջառը և այլն:

Նկատի ունենալով վերոնշյալը
Եվրոպայի Հայերի Համագումարը, ողջունում է ՄԱԿ-ի քվեարկած 16 օգոստոսի բանաձևը, որ չբավարարվեց միայն շարունակվող ոճիրները դատապարտելով ու տուժածների հետ համերաշխություն հայտարարելով, այլև որոշում կայացրեց, ահաբեկչական այդ կազմակերպություններին հովանավորող պետությունների դեմ պատժամիջոցներ նախաձեռնելու:

Եվրոպայի Հայերի Համագումարը միաժամանակ զարմանք է հայտնում ՄԱԿ-ի և եվրոպական կառույցների կողմից այս որոշումը գործնական քայլերի վերածելու տատանման ու հապաղման առիթով:

Մենք միաժամանակ կոչ ենք անում անհապաղ միջոցառումներ ձեռնարկել կասեցնելու համար ծայրահեղական խմբերի շարունակվող ոճրագործությունները և  ամոքելու Եզդի և այլ ժողովուրդների տառապանքները:
