Two Defenders of Armenian Causes Pass Away

The news of Patrick Devedjian’s death and that of classical composer Krzysztof E. Penderecki was received in great sorrow by team Keghart.

Devedjian, 75, statesman, a former minister in the French cabinet and an untiring fighter for Armenian causes had been hospitalized due to coronavirus infection.

Krzysztof E. Penderecki, arguably Poland’s greatest contemporary composer passed away after a long illness. His Armenian grandmother was from Isfahan, Iran. His work, dedicated to the Armenian Genocide, was performed to great acclaim a few years ago.

Team Keghart extends its heartfelt condolences to the Devedjian and Penderecki families, also to the families and friends of all victims of coronavirus.
