Dr. Demirdjian’s research interests lie in social and behavioral sciences. During his academic career, he has published hundreds of articles and editorials in refereed journals and has received over twelve best article/author awards for his research studies.

Dr. Demirdjian distinguishes himself as being more than a top-notch scholar; he has an extensive track record in consulting various profit and not-for-profit organizations spanning over twenty-five years. His latest textbook titled Perspectives in Consumer Behavior: An Anthropological Approach was published in January 2008, The Demon in Diplomacy: Alliances Based on Affinity (on U.S. reaffirmation of the Armenian Genocide) was published in September 2009, and Challenges and Opportunities in a Changing World: Insights, Innovations, and Trends was published in November 2009. He wrote a book in 2010 titled The Triangle of Trade in the Cradle of Civilization, establishing Armenia as being a constituent member of the ancient Mesopotamia and as the bona fide birthplace of civilization. Currently he is writing The Emergence of the Ottoman Empire: A Pattern of Passionate Behavior to be published in early 2011.

Dr. Demirdjian firmly believes that it is high time for the application of the worldwide organization concept to unite a scattered people of some nations such as all Armenians of the Republic of Armenia, Artsakh, and the Diaspora by sharing a common ideology to campaign for the Armenian cause in keeping alive the quest for the Turkish-occupied Western Armenia and Cilicia. No one lives Armenia, no one breathes Armenia more than the Armenian diligent activists and various organization leaders. It would be a learning curve for all of them, though, to coalesce with one another and synergize their time, effort and talents by establishing a worldwide organization based on the tenets of discipline, functionalism, and team work. The contention that Large numbers are the common denominators of any organized political effort at achieving results has been a truism in the past, present, and the future is beyond any refutation.
